Eliza R. Snow was a woman of Faith. Her life’s story is an example of the restoration of the gospel of Jesus Christ from a woman’s prospective. Countless times her faith was tried as she uncomplainingly followed the path of the prophet from Kirtland, to Far West, to Nauvoo and finally on into the Salt Lake Valley where she became a central figure in the founding of a new, a rare and beautiful culture, in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. This small, brave woman founded the Relief Society, the Primary, as well as the first Young Women’s organization. Eliza’s was the kind of faith nations can be built upon. | ||
